The client sought to reduce energy costs and increase light levels in thirty six retail locations across the country. The existing systems were 400W metal halide hi-bays. The company recognized the opportunity to achieve a number of lighting quality improvements while meeting their sustainability goals and further enhancing the customer experience.

The Solution:

In an effort to reduce energy consumption and increase light levels, while taking advantage of available utility rebates, This national retail client partnered with the experts at Illumetek to remove the existing lighting system and install a technologically advanced system utilizing a state of the art fixture, lamp/ballast combination. HID technologies were completely retrofitted to T5 fluorescent lamps. In addition the extended manufacturer warranty offered through Illumetek made the entire retrofit a “no cost” maintenance upgrade for the first three years of the project installation.
